Yes it is worlds most expensive and a rare book. The best thing is that book is set for sale, this book is one of the 100 remaining copies of "Birds of America" and experts value it from 4 million pounds to 6 million pound. One complete copy of the book was sold at recors 8.8 million in 2000 so I guess this time the cost may go higher.
A very rare publication of its kind book contains collection of 435 hand-colored prints, made from engravings of Audubon's illustrations, measures more than 3 feet by 2 feet. Reason for such a huge size is that Audubon wanted to paint the birds life size.
